Father's Day has become much more special now that we have the kids involved in these celebrations. To me, making a homemade meal shows how much you care. So this year, for father's day, I decided to make chilaquiles and french toast for Adam and my dad. Chilaquiles are one of Adam's favorite meals and its really easy to make. I knew we were going out for lunch after church, so I wanted the kids to help me make a special breakfast. I had Judah grate the queso Cotija (his favorite) and Asael mix the French toast egg mix and dip the sour dough bread into it. I was surprised at how well they did at assisting me. Overall, it was a success and my little chefs did a superb job. Quick tip- Its best to eat these meals as soon as you make them, so just keep that in mind.
