Quick Intro: In this SF Sights series I want to bring you all some hidden gems that may not be your typical tourist attraction when coming to SF. Something to keep in mind, if you're local, come out to SF on the first Tuesday of every month because most museums are FREE. You can look them up HERE.
Legion of Honor // @legionofhonor
We spent our anniversary day in the city going to new places. First stop was Legion of Honor. Adam was told of the current Monet exhibit displayed here, so we wanted to check it out. Of course, this exhibit didn't fall under the "FREE" umbrella but likely his famous Waterlily painting was available for everyone to see. I was astounded by the enormous frames and paintings that exist, I had never seen any this big. Also, the the hardwood floors were so beautiful, they kept my attention more than the artworkt. There are so many more historical paintings here to see so I'd definitely add this to the list.
Conservatory of Flowers // @conservatoryofflowers
This giant white greenhouse is a historical landmark in SF, and yet another place I'd never been to. There's so many tropical plants and flowers currently visiting along with the butterfly exhibit. I gotta remember to bring the boys with me next time I visit.
