Both my husband and I have been visiting Great America since we've been kids. Now that we have our own family, its become a new experience for us to see it through their eyes. This year we were invited to a lovely afternoon lunch to hear all about what is coming up this year as well as Great America's future plans. And let me tell you, we left feeling excited for what's to come.
They will be extending the park days with a fun event called Winter Fest which will welcome all its guest with a big ice skating ring at the Reflection Pond. I was really excited when they shared with us that they have really big investors joining Cedars Parks and will be using our very own Great America in Santa Clara to be the first park in being transformed. I gotta say, as much as I love the rides I grew up with, it would be nice to see some being switched out for new attractions.
I was reminded that Great America is the only park that offers a 2 for 1 deal because Boomerang Bay ( water park) is included in the admission fee. When we go to Boomerang Bay its usually an entire day because of all the fun attractions it has. That's the great thing about having season passes, we get to go as many times as we want and on times that is not as busy. We've already made great memories with our friends and families at the park and looking forward in making some more.
Here are other things Great America has...
