My husband Adam had blocked off the first week of July for our family vacation back in January and had bought flights to Hawaii. But thanks to COVID-19, we had to cancel and pick a new location. Last year, we stayed in Huntington Beach and loved it so we decided to spend our 7 day vacation at the same location and same resort. When you have young kids they only care about one thing and that’s the POOL. We really like The Waterfront Beach Resort by Hilton because it has everything. They have 2 pools, waterslides, a big sand area, sand toys, beach chairs, umbrellas and the beach right across the street. Inside they have a few restaurants, Starbucks, a coffee shop and so many more amenities we took advantage of. Downtown Huntington is a few blocks away and a really nice outdoor shopping center called Pacific City with lots of shops and restaurants right next door. Also, the pier and tons of beach snacks along the beach, and it’s all walking distance.

I know what you’re thinking but not going to lie I’ve learned a few more recipes and weight loss hacks on there so yeah! Lol. Also, we used this time to hang out with a few friends that live nearby and it was such a blast.
