It's very rare for Adam and I to go out for brunch without our boys, but the day after Christmas, we had the chance to do so. The problem we find ourselves having is deciding on which new place we should try out. In the notes section on my phone I have lots of ongoing notes and one of them is named "SF Eats." We chose Causwells in the marina because they just happened to be open for brunch that day. Let me tell you, just about every item on the menu looked tasty and we couldn't decide on what to order. Make sure to add this place to your own list of SF Eats.
This is what we ordered:
Appetizers
- Deviled Eggs with smoked trout, paprika, and mustard
- Housemade Ricotta with rosemary, honey, and lavosh
Entrees
- Brunch Burger with single beef patty, american cheese, fried egg, bacon, aioli, lettuce, pickle, and onion
- Chilaquiles with tortilla chips, salsa verde, black beans, scrambled egg, sour cream, and queso fresco
